end of twentieth century hallucinatory blues

well it's the end of the twentieth century hallucinatory blues
and i'm feeling it once again down in my spine
it's starting to rise

slowly it all runs sideways and the floor starts to spin
rolling on the ridge-way and the magic carpet sounds like a machine

rub the lamp and hide the smoke, dust engulfed inside the dream
feel the sound clouds burst all the way down to the ocean floor

submarine bells resounding and echoes chill up your to your eyes
release the clean air and the packet squad formation in form

one chance gets removed
under the blanketed sky

finding time, keeping time

upwards and outwards then...
run backwards to begin

from the sorted start
slowly rise and then
reach for the heavens
and feel it within

faith embraced for now
only for a moment
until it melts away
right or maybe wrong

fear forgotten, washed away
open sea, open land
ubiquitous with inner peace
